All registration includes an agreement to follow Big Sky Dance Works policies.
A hard-copy of the full list of policies will need to be signed on your first day of classes to complete the enrollment process.
Policies and Expectations
Payment and Fees: After payment of the enrollment fee, the tuition is collected in ten monthly
payments, September through June. Tuition is based on a ten month program and
divided into ten equal payments. There are no refunds or pro-rated rates for
months with holidays or classes that are missed.
Care of Students: The studio is not responsible for supervision of students before or
after their classes. Parents with students under the age of 12 are expected to
supervise their children until the teacher begins class and to pick them up
immediately upon the end of class. Students under 18 are not to be left at the
studio for excessive time before or after class. The studio will be open at
3:30 every weekday and will close immediately after the last class of the day.
Responsibility of Students and Parents to be Aware of
Important Dates and Events: It is the
responsibility of the parent or adult student to be aware of all studio
activities, including rehearsals, performances and the dates the studio is open
and closed. The studio will post notices of the dates and provide copies of the
schools calendar of events. It is the responsibility of students to ensure they
are informed of any changes to the schedule by regularly checking the bulletin
board and reading the newsletters that are sent home via email and are always
posted to Facebook. For the most recent updates (cancelled classes due to
weather, changed rehearsal times, ect.) check our Facebook page or website at
www.bigskydanceworks.com.
Injuries: Parents,
legal guardians of minor students, and adult students waive the right to any
legal action for any injury sustained on school property resulting from normal
class activity or any other activity conducted by the students before, during,
or after class.
